Rebates and incentives
Washington HVAC rebates and incentives
Utility rebates and incentives for HVAC equipment are real, and they move. What is offered, how much it pays and whether it is still open depend on your utility and the year, so the safest answer always comes from a phone call, not a web page that may be out of date.
Heat pumps are where most utility programs focus. Pacific Power’s wattsmart program has offered heat pump incentives, and it is the one we link customers to. Not on Pacific Power? Ask us anyway and we will help you find the right program.
Four things to settle before you sign
A rebate is easy to lose and easy to keep. These are the questions that decide which.
Which utility serves your address
Rebates are tied to the utility that sends your bill, not to the heating contractor. Tell us who your utility is and we can tell you where to look.
Which equipment qualifies
Programs set their own efficiency and equipment rules. Check before you sign, because the model that qualifies is not always the one on the lowest quote.
What has to happen before installation
Some programs want an application, a pre-approval or specific paperwork from the installer. Ask first so a rebate is not lost over a form.
What is still open this year
Programs open, change and close. We do not print dollar amounts on this page, because an amount that was right last winter can be wrong today.
Where to go next
Read about the heat pumps we install and service, or look at financing if you want to spread the cost of a new system. Homeowners can finance through SALAL Credit Union.
