Indoor air quality systems for Yakima and Toppenish homes
Filtration, humidity control, fresh-air ventilation and UV light, fitted into the ductwork you already have or built in with the new.
Chapter 01
What is in the air you breathe at home
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency describes indoor air pollution as particulate matter or gas. The particles are dust, smoke, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, bacteria and mold, and some are small enough to be inhaled. The gases come from sources such as gas stoves, paints, building materials, cleaning products and pesticides.
Poor ventilation, a badly maintained HVAC system and too much moisture make it worse. The symptoms are easy to mistake for something else: sore throats, stuffy noses and constant headaches. A free consultation is the quickest way to find out whether the air in your house is the cause.

Equipment that rides on the ductwork
Most indoor air quality equipment works through the duct system, which is why we treat the two as one job. A whole-house filtration system protects the entire home and helps when someone has allergies. Air cleaners, REME HALO and Aerus Air Scrubber units, and ultraviolet germicidal lights go after biological contaminants such as mold spores, mildew and bacteria.
Humidity is the other half. A whole-house humidifier holds the level between the ideal 30 and 50 percent, which eases dry air and protects wood floors and furniture. A whole-house dehumidifier takes on the muggy days. For stale air, an energy recovery ventilator or heat recovery ventilator brings fresh air in using the outgoing air, so your energy bill does not jump.
We retrofit equipment in older homes and fit it into new construction and remodels, and we install and replace all makes and models of HVAC equipment. Sealed, in-house ductwork keeps what you filtered from leaking back out.
Chapter 03
Simple habits, and our service after the install
Equipment cannot fix a house on its own. Change or clean your filters according to the manufacturer's directions, seal leaks in your ducts, vacuum and dust regularly, drain dehumidifiers daily and clean the reservoir, and clean refrigerator drip pans.
