Gas furnace installation, repair and tune-ups in Yakima
A furnace sized to your house, ducted by people who build the ductwork themselves, and a truck stocked with parts when it quits.
Chapter 01
When the furnace blows cold or cycles all night
Odd noises, a jump in the gas bill and a furnace that never stops cycling are the early signs that something is wrong. In the Yakima Valley it is worth acting on them, because a few cold days in a row with no heat is all it takes to freeze the pipes in a house.
Call 509-248-6380 before a small fault turns into an expensive one. Our licensed technicians arrive in a company vehicle filled with parts so we can address the repair promptly, and we promise never to replace a part unless it is necessary or we can show you a real saving.

Choosing a furnace starts with fuel. If a natural gas line reaches your house we strongly recommend a gas furnace: the price is relatively stable and there is nothing to store. After that comes speed. A single-stage furnace is on or off, a two-stage runs at full and half speed for more even heat, and a variable-speed furnace adjusts continuously, runs longer at lower speeds and cycles less.
Efficiency is the AFUE rating. A furnace rated 95 converts 95 percent of the fuel it burns into heat, and the higher the number the lower the monthly bill. We do not guess at any of it. Our designs are based on room-by-room heat loss and gain calculations in Carrier, Wrightsoft and Loop CAD software, and we install Carrier equipment.
The furnace is only the muscle. The ductwork carries the heat, and ours is built in-house to SMACNA standards from smooth galvanized sheet metal, with flex duct limited to three to five foot terminating branches. We measure carefully, run an energy audit of the house, and can talk through financing with approved credit.
Chapter 03
The fall tune-up, and when to call again
We recommend a furnace tune-up in the early fall, before the first cold snap, not after it. Routine maintenance keeps your warranty valid and keeps the furnace running as efficiently as it can, which is the same logic as changing the oil in a truck.
Our Maintenance Plans put that visit on a schedule. The Bronze and Silver Packages include a 21-point inspection and cleaning that covers the heat exchanger, the burner assembly, the ignition, the blower wheel and the flue draft. Call again whenever the furnace short-cycles, rattles or smells wrong. After hours and on weekends, our emergency line answers 24-7.
