In heating and air conditioning, one size does not fit all. A free consultation is how we work out which of these applies to your house.
Emergency repair, 24-7
Is your furnace blowing cold air? Is the air conditioner making a strange noise? The office is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and emergency service is available 24-7, including weekends. Odd noises are often clues, anything from a loose part to a clogged filter, and a minor fix caught early costs far less than the same fault left alone.
Repair or replace
Repair equipment that is brand new or only a few years old. The exception is a repair that costs too much, such as a cracked heat exchanger that is out of warranty. Then a new system may make more sense, particularly if you want to upgrade. We guarantee our repair work with a warranty.
Well-maintained equipment can run efficiently for 15 to 20 years before parts wear down. If your energy bills rise every year and the repair calls are getting more frequent, it is time to talk about replacing it.
What a new system costs
The price depends on the size of the unit and its features. A variable-speed furnace, for example, costs more up front and uses less energy to run. We design from room-by-room heat loss and gain calculations in Carrier, Wrightsoft and Loop CAD software, and we give you transparent pricing and quotes so you are comfortable with the decision. We do not cut corners to look cheaper. A system done right holds greater value than one done cheaply.
Maintenance, fall and spring
We recommend a furnace tune-up in the early fall and an air conditioning tune-up in the spring. Routine maintenance keeps your warranty valid and your equipment running as efficiently as it can, much like changing the oil in your vehicle. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, you could save up to 30 percent on your energy expenses with regularly scheduled maintenance visits.
